当九天应元雷声普化天尊，在玉清天中，与十方诸天帝君，会于玉虚九宫之殿、鬰萧弥罗之馆、紫极曲密之房、阅太幽碧瑶之笈、考洞微明晨之书。交头接耳，细议重玄。诸多陪臣左右踧踖，天尊宴坐，朗诵洞章。
诸天帝君长吟步虚，彩女仙姝散花旋绕，再相引领游戏翠宫。群仙导前先节后钺龙旂鸾辂飘飖太空，并集于玉梵七宝层台。时有雷神皓翁，在仙众中越班而出，对面天尊前頫囟做礼。
上白天尊言：“愿告欲闻。” 天尊大慈，大圣，为群生父，为万灵师。今者诸天咸此良觌适见天尊阅宝笈考琼书於中秘赜不可缕计唯有玉霄一府所统三十六天内院中司东西华台玄馆妙阁四府六院及诸有司各分曹局所以总司五雷。
“为何因缘得以趋服？” 天尊至皇心亲庶政。此等小兆以何因缘得以趋服愿告欲闻。“雷师皓翁尔时仙卿储勳夙世累行昨生故得玉府登庸琼宫简録今兹勳行视夙昨多尔其悉力雷司委心火部日复日岁复岁勳崇行著性霁神融克证高真即階妙道惟是雷部鬼神昼劳夕役动有捶鸦此息彼作彼所因故尔耳焉。”
“雷师皓翁及诸天诸仙耸耳而默。” 天尊所坐九凤丹霞之扆手举金光明之如意琅风清微绮云郁丽寂然良久，“吾昔於千五百劫以先心逢此道遂位上真意酿此功遂权大化常於大罗元始天尊前以清净心发广大愿愿於未来世一切众生天天龙鬼神一称吾名悉使超涣如所否者吾当以身身之尔等洗心为尔宣说。”
“爾乃至道深窈不在其他。” “尔既欲闻无闻者是无闻无见即是真道聞見亦泯惟爾而已爾尚非有何况於道。不聞而聞何道可談。”
“我乃九天贞明大圣每月初六及旬中辛日监观万天浮游三界若或有人欲学道欲希仙欲逭九玄欲释三灾。当命清微正一道士或自同亲友于楼观于家庭于里社酌水馈花课诵此经或一遍三五遍乃至数十百遍即得神清气爽心广体胖凡所希求悉应其感。”
“身中九灵何不召之一曰通灵二曰晓英三曰玄珠四曰正中五曰孑丹六曰回练七曰丹元八 曰太渊九 曰灵童召则吉身中三精何不呼之一曰台光二 曰爽灵 三 曰幽精呼则庆.”
