道家传承人物夏元鼎西城真人

夏元鼎[约公元1201年前后在世],字宗禹,是永嘉(今浙江永嘉)人。南宋时期的道家传承人物,其生卒年份不详,但大致在宋宁宗嘉泰初前后。他少年时代便跟随当地的道士游历,深受阴符经等古籍影响。在一次偶然的机会中,他claimed to have met a sage on Mount Zhufeng, who taught him the secrets of alchemy. He then began to lecture on these topics and gained a reputation as a knowledgeable scholar.

Summer was known for his literary talents and had written several works, including "The Drum of Penglai" and annotations to the "Yin Fu", "Mysterious Mirror", and "Straightforwardness". His writings were highly regarded by his contemporaries, with one notable scholar, True De Shu, writing an introduction for one of his works.

In addition to his literary pursuits, Summer was also an accomplished alchemist. He wrote extensively on the subject of inner alchemy, drawing heavily from classic texts such as the "Dao De Jing", "Yin Fu", "Participation Agreement", etc. His works include commentaries on these texts as well as original compositions in poetic form.

One notable work is his commentary on the text called “The Secret Chamber”. This work is based upon four hundred lines of text and provides detailed explanations for each line.
